Position Summary: Ensures that the property is clean and orderly.SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assures that MPA is clean and sanitary in accordance with agency standards and OSHA regulations.Assures entrances and exit ways are clear of obstructions.Monitors the heating and cooling system to ensure comfort.Provides decorating and renovation services.Performs preventative maintenance on the facility and equipment and/or arranges to have the service performed.Coordinates facilities needs with program staff.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Independent, organized individual who takes pride in creating an attractive environment for his/her fellow workers. - Skilled in carpentry, painting, electricity, plumbing, heating to the extent of being able to maintain the building and perform routine repairs and minor renovations and repairs.

• Knowledgeable in purchasing supplies, equipment and services for facilities and in controlling costs for same. - Own transportation. - Knows OSHA regulations. Physical Requirements: Employees in this position must have the ability to: - Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.- Ability to communicate by voice, use sight and hearing.
