Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a scribe. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and plans as dictated by healthcare providers.
- Assist providers during patient encounters by recording information in real-time.
- Ensure timely completion of medical records to support efficient patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare team members to optimize documentation processes.
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in [state].
- Prior experience working as an LPN or in a similar healthcare role.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
