DESCRIPTION OF POSITION –The Livestream and Video Producer is responsible for producing a livestream of Sunday morning Worship every week, as well as other video content for the organization. The successful candidate will build strong and lasting relationships and seek to understand not only the video needs of Trinity UMC, but will be an advocate for our congregation, volunteers, and staff members by supporting our mission and creating a unique and welcoming experience. The candidate will work closely with ministry leaders to capture engaging worship, advertise events, tell stories, and increase brand recognition throughout the region through utilizing various tactics and will measure and report upon success.

As a staff member, this position is responsible for promoting a Christian atmosphere fostering effective working relationships with staff/non-staff workers, church membership and volunteers.

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Livestream Producer – Schedule, manage, and operate cameras to produce a quality and engaging livestream of worship at 9:00 and 11:00 on Sunday morning. This requires being on site every Sunday morning.

· Media Integration – works with staff to integrate necessary media, graphics, and text into worship and livestream.

· Video Media - work with staff and communication director to create video content for church website, social media, communications, marketing, etc.

· Story Telling – uphold and communicate the story of Trinity UMC in effective, creative, and innovative ways.

· Equipment Maintenance – maintain video equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform necessary updates etc.

· Establish excellent relationships with peers, ministry team, volunteers and others to ensure that all video efforts offer a great user experience.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be proficient in the following areas:

· Experience with livestreaming live events.

· Experience with operating and maintaining video equipment.

· Experience creating different forms of video content, including video content for social media.

· Experience with video editing.

· Experience with online content management.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should possess:

• An undergraduate degree in a related field/experience from an accredited institution plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

PREFERED SKILLS

· Experience with Pro Presenter and worship production

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

SCHEDULE AND HOURS

This position is required to perform a minimum of 8-10 hours of work per week. This position requires working on Sunday mornings each week from 8:00am – 12:30pm

HOURLY RATE

The hourly rate for this position is $26-28 dollars per hour depending on experience.

OTHER

This position must also:

· Understand and support the vision of Trinity United Methodist Church

· Perform tasks, from time to time, not defined above in support of the goals of the organization

· Perform miscellaneous tasks or duties in support of the daily operation of the organization

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
