Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure the seamless completion of all kitchen duties.
  • Uphold a safe and pleasant work environment for fellow staff members.
  • Prepare and organize workstations with the necessary supplies and prepped ingredients.
  • Maintain a commitment to quality by ensuring all produced food meets or exceeds established standards.
  • Exercise portion control, manage wastage, and adhere to prescribed par levels within the department.
  • Sustain a hygienic and secure work area, demonstrating proficiency in handling utensils, equipment, and dishware.
  • This position reports to the Kitchen Manager

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar culinary environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, actively contributing innovative ideas to enhance individual and team efficiency.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $16-$18 per hour
