Laundry Staff (Long Term Care)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating, cleaning and sanitizing washer and dryer.
• Sorting and laundering linens; distributing clean linen to linen rooms.
• Distributing personal clothing to residents’ rooms.
• Ensuring that resident’s clothing is properly identified.
• Keeping laundry area clean and in order by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
• Maintaining inventory of laundry supplies and linen.
• Follow policies and procedures to follow infection control practices and operate equipment correctly to prevent accidents.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to follow procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products
• Self motivated
