Position Title: Laundry Attendant

Reports To: Assistant Head Housekeeper/Head Housekeeper

Hotel: Staybridge Suites (DFWGR)

Location: Grand Prairie, Texas

Position/Hours: Full-Time

Position Summary:

Being a laundry attendant, you are responsible to ensure that all laundry services for the hotels guests is done as per the standard policies and is met on time. Responsible for removing linen, trash and other items from guests rooms. Cleaning and vacuuming public spaces and removing trash from Hallways. Overall responsibilities for this job position include but are not limited to sorting, washing, drying and folding all guest room and public area laundry as well.

REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisites:

Friendliness, smiling and greeting are required due to the mingling of associates and guests. Teamwork is no exception. Organization and communication are another important factor. Punctuality and attendance are essential to the job position. Understanding of laundry machines and chemicals. Ability to work under pressure. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Bilingual preferred but not required.

Experience:

Must have at least a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of laundry experience at any branded hotel or similar place of business. Applicants with no experience will also be considered and trained as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
