Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe environment in our facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our employees and visitors. Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Follow established safety procedures and use protective equipment when necessary - Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department - Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards Experience: - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred - Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus - Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is beneficial Skills: - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and visitors in a professional manner Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
