Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors. Duties: - Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors - Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills - Clean windows and glass surfaces - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards Skills: - Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
