Intake Coordinator/Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Intake Coordinator/Legal Assistant to join our team. The Intake Coordinator/Legal Assistant will be responsible for processing new client intake forms, answering calls, scheduling intake appointments, drafting and sending retainer agreements, collecting retainer payments, calendar management, case tracking and metrics, assisting with in-office client work and meetings, and other tasks as assigned. This position will report to the Managing Attorney.

Required Skills:
Strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with intermediate proficiency in Excel. Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace. Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat. Intermediate proficiency in Google Docs. Intermediate proficiency in other Adobe applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to learn new systems quickly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Travel requirement:

  • No travel

Experience:

  • Customer service or Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
