Under general supervision of the Director of HCV Programs, performs responsible technical and professional work in Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) HQS Inspections. Work involves inspecting HUD assisted rental units following prescribed guidelines/checklist and routine administrative duties. Requires the use of independent judgement and initiative ensuring that HUD and HCV policies and regulations are met.

Requires HS diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years experience with inspections, construction, housing, or similar, some knowledge of HUD and HUD programs, primarily the Housing Choice Voucher (formerly known as Section 8) program preferred. Must pass the HQS Exam within 1-2 years.

Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
