We are looking for qualified and knowledgeable employees to work in the hunting and fishing department in our Helena store. The ideal candidate is well-experienced and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and sharing their experience and passion with our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build strong customer relations
• Identify customers' needs and make appropriate product recommendations
• Maintain and enforce store cleanliness
• Submit background checks for gun purchases
• Educate customers about proper gun care and maintenance
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of trends and emerging technologies relating to the industry
• Provide accurate pricing and sale information
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions
• Up-keep visual presentation standards and department maintenance (e.g., in-store signage, merchandise recovery, restocking)
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Extensive experience and knowledge about guns (e.g., makes and models of firearms and scopes, understanding the concepts and practices fo hunting and related activities)
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and proactive work ethic
• Comfortable approaching and talking to customers
• Problem-solving and logical decision-making mentality
• Able to effectively work with a team
• Effective communication skills

Helpful

• Basic knowledge of rifle and archery hunting
• Retail experience
• Customer service experience
• Able to work flexiblie shifts
