POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the cleanliness of interior and exterior public areas. Assists room attendants when necessary to service guest rooms.
DUTIES:
· Cleans/vacuums and maintains public areas including but not limited to all portions of exterior grounds, interior hallways, windows, mirrors, railings, lights, stairwells, elevators, storerooms, etc.
· Delivers requested items to guestrooms, when necessary.
· Removes trash from public area receptacles to dumpsters.
· Stocks and cleans storerooms. Makes rollaway beds and ensures they are in working order.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 16 years of age.
· Ability to work independently and responsibly without constant supervision.
· Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff.
· Ability to maintain self in a clean, professional appearance/manner.
· Ability to wear designated uniform and maintain it as directed.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.
· Ability to be consistently punctual and dependable.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Physically demanding job.
· Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stretching, bending, stooping, and carrying/pushing work equipment and materials.
· Frequent interactions with diverse guest both leisure and business.
