We’re looking for someone to become a part of our Front Desk Team (part time)! You must be dependable, reliable, honest, and hardworking. No experience is necessary but it’s certainly considered a plus. Hours are 3pm-11pm Sunday and 3pm-11pm Monday.
**Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and with using email.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
- Assist guests with requests and provide information about hotel services
- Handle reservations and cancellations accurately
- Process payments and maintain guest accounts
- Ensure the lobby area is clean and presentable at all times
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Be well groomed and aware of personal hygiene at all times,
- Adhere to dress code policies
- Be dependable and reliable
- Follow all NYS and federal laws
- Be responsible for all transactions throughout your shift
- Follow direction and assignments given by management
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hotel management procedures and guest services
- Experience with night audit responsibilities is advantageous
