Job Summary:
The Hotel Breakfast Attendant at Staybridge Suites Omaha West is responsible for ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience by providing high-quality breakfast service. This is a part-time position, with a schedule of 5 days a week in the mornings. As an individual contributor, the ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees will have access to hotel discounts, as well as opportunities for career growth within the hotel industry. Hiring bonus - $500.00.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring that food items are fresh, presentable, and well-stocked
• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service during their dining experience
• Monitor food levels and replenish as needed, checking for expiration dates and rotating items to ensure freshness
• Prepare and serve guests with hot and cold beverages, including coffee and juice
• Clear and clean tables, and assist with dishwashing and maintaining a clean dining area
• Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Communicate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally
• Attend training and meetings as required by the management team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
