Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing guest relations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Manage the seating arrangements, ensuring efficient flow and guest satisfaction.
• Take and process customer orders accurately using POSI system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and services offered.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely food delivery and service quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to helping others and providing outstanding customer service.
• Familiarity with similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required.
