Job Description:
The Omni Richmond Hotel is looking for a team-oriented individual to be a part of the fantastic Westham Tavern & Porch team as a Greeter. To create great lasting impressions on our guests, you'll need to be outgoing and friendly with high motivation to deliver them memorable experiences.

PART-TIME
PAY RATE: $13.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
General job duties include, but not limited to...
  • “Setting the mood” for an exceptional dining experience by greeting our guests with a welcoming smile upon entering the restaurant
  • Demonstrating outstanding service by leading our guests safely and professionally through the restaurant to their tables, then assisting with pulling out chairs, providing clean menus, and accommodating any additional seating requests.
  • Monitoring and controlling the seating availability of the restaurant
  • Ensuring tables are clean and set with appropriate decor, clean glasswares, stocked condiments, and other tableware requirements
  • Exhibiting genuine hospitality during every interaction with guests, whether it be over the ‘phone or in person.
  • Providing accurate wait times, directing guests to the restrooms, taking reservations, receiving to-go orders or answering questions
  • Assisting servers and bartenders when needed
  • Bestowing a farewell full of appreciation to guests for dining with us upon their departures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior hosting and/or serving experience in a restaurant preferred
  • Able to multi task and be detail-oriented
  • Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10- 20 lbs without assistance
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be a team player with a “can-do” attitude to deliver 100% guest satisfaction
  • Must be 18 years or older
