Colonial Heritage Golf Club an Up To Par Managed Property is seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Part Time Golf Starter.

Job Title: Golf Course Starter

Compensation: $12.00/hour

Role: Provide exceptional customer service to Members and Guests. The Golf Starter will be responsible for greeting and assisting all golfers at the club, ensuring a smooth start to their round of golf.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all golfers as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome and a positive first impression of the club

• Check tee times, manage the flow of players, and ensure that players start their rounds on time

• Keep track of the pace of play and take appropriate action to ensure that groups are playing at an appropriate speed

• Assist players with any questions or concerns they may have, including directions to the course, rules of play, and course layout

• Provide general assistance to golfers as needed, such as cleaning clubs, finding lost balls, or providing tips on how to navigate the course

• Manage the golf cart fleet, ensuring that carts are cleaned, fueled, and ready for use by golfers

• Work closely with the pro shop staff and other members of the golf club team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all golfers

Requirements:

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette preferred

• Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to operate a golf cart and perform basic maintenance tasks on carts
