Bluebird Composting Garden Center in Columbia, MO.

Filling 1-2 PART TIME positions.

Must be friendly, reliable and able to obtain and communicate product knowledge to customers at the store and on the phone.

Responsibilities to include: Must have previous experience working in landscaping or garden center retail with knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs and our gardening products. Preferred experience with gardening, sales, interacting with customers regarding our products. Caring for plants watering and maintaining the health of the plants. Store and outside garden must be maintained, keeping area clean. Must be able to lift 30-50lbs of bagged product, loading and unloading for customers and new stock. Experience operating a skid steer for bulk sales.

Hourly pay is based on experience and work performance/dependability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
