Want to be a live Game Show Host?! Come join our team at Game Show Battle Rooms in Overland Park! One of the only authentic game show experiences in the country! We are specifically trying to find candidates with weekday and weekend availability.

You will have the once in a lifetime experience of being an actual Game Show host! You will be hosting Game Show experiences for groups of 6-36 people in our stunning custom Game Show arenas in Overland Park. You will be responsible for making the experience incredibly fun for our guests, as well as creating a memorable experience as contestants battle through multiple Game Shows including the following:

Survey Battles: A friendly feud of the top survey answers!

Spin and Solve: Spin the giant wheel to help solve the phrase!

What’s that Co$t: Price games and “The Drop" for the win!

MatchUp Wars: Try guessing your team-mate’s answer!

Time Rush Games: 60 seconds to win the skilled challenge

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Skills Needed: Performing experience, witty personality, assertive/loud voice, fun & outgoing, comfortable speaking in front of a group, reliability, custom friendly/positive attitude. General computer knowledge.

Job Qualifications: Preferred at least 1 year of experience in some format of performing arts, including but not limited to improv, comedy or comedian work, or theater, plays or something similar

Availability: Opportunities for shows 9am-10pm, 7 days a week. This round of hiring we especially need people who can commit to Weekday availability and Saturday and Sunday availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00+/hour (varies depending on tips you receive)

Explanation of pay: Your starting pay is $12.50/hr. to produce and $15/hr. to host plus the opportunity to earn a significant amount of customer tips based on performance. These two pay factors may combine to average $20-30+/hour. Employees are encouraged to cross-train for both positions, and most employees start with producing and then move to hosting. Employees are eligible for an hourly rate raise after 30-90 days based on performance.

Start Date: Training will begin right after you are hired and you will be paid for training ($10/hr). You will likely train for 2-3 weeks before going live game show hosting or producing!

We cater to birthday parties, bachelor / bachelorette parties, and corporate team building events.
