Discover Chiropractic, PLLC in Bothell, WA is looking for a part time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are located on 22833 Bothell Everett Hwy Suite 202. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

*Confident, mature individual that enjoys interacting with people. Solid customer service, phone and computer skills are needed. *Part Time: ~20-25 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am to 6:00pm and 1-2 Saturday mornings 7:30am to 10:00am. Tuesday and Thursdays and Sundays off. *401K options available. *Help your community achieve excellent health and be part of a thriving chiropractic office.

DUTIES:

• Welcomes patients and visitors to our clinic providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer multi-line phones and either directs the caller to the appropriate party or handling the caller’s needs yourself
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents
• Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations from insurance companies.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Doctor availability
• Entering data into our EHR computer system
• HIPAA Training is provided

Qualifications

Prior medical reception work preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a customer service role
• Healthcare experience a plus & Willingness to learn
• Efficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer use
• Friendly and compassionate disposition
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $19.00 - $21.00/hour.
