Overview

Position Summary

Are you seeking a role where your efforts will improve the lives and experiences of our patients and employees? This position prepares plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees, and the public. The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Requires 1-3 Years of food preparation experience.
  • ISDOH approved certification of Food Handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some locations.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
  • Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
