After Care Program Instructor

Flex has current openings for the 2023-2024 school year, for part-time Program Instructors in our aftercare programs at Peabody Elementary School. MUST have a passion for “making a difference”. The position is Monday through Friday during the school year-hours are usually 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. daily but may vary.

The Program Instructor will:

• Work well with a variety of groups including fellow staff, school personnel, families, and children.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our students
• Lead instruction in the program using Flex-approved curriculum and other resources
• Demonstrate effective classroom management techniques
• Communicate effectively with families regarding behavior and daily activities

Program Instructor Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Have a passion for education
• Comfortable with technology (phone, laptop, etc)
• Perform other duties as directed
• Minimum Education: Highschool Diploma
• Must be able to meet and stay current on state-specific licensing requirements
