Job Description

Responsibilities:

Maintain and create accurate and timely physical and electronic legal case files by filing daily index pleadings, correspondence, legal research, and attorney notes; maintain and secure records according to firm’s established procedures and policies; scan and organize materials into appropriate folders.

Provide backup support to reception; provide clerical support to paralegal staff.

Required Skills:

Data entry, proofreading with strong attention to detail, log maintenance, adept at maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and clients through outstanding interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

Previous experience in a legal setting is advantageous.

Must be dependable with adherence to strict policies on confidentiality.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
