Banyan Bay Club is a 44 unit gulf-to-bay condominium association comprised of six, three story residential building, a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, tennis and pickle-ball court, kayak corral and community dock. Job Description:

The role of the Facilities Maintenance Assistant is a part-time, non-exempt role, based on a 20 hour work week. Hours will be flexible Monday through Friday as agreed to by you and the Facilities Manager. In this role you will perform repair and other project work under the supervision of the Facilities Manager that include but are not limited to pool, irrigation and building maintenance, painting, general repairs and other duties.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting property maintenance preferred, but will consider all applicants with similar experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Able to follow direction and proactively support Facilities Manager
  • Be self motivated and solve issues independently, or for larger concerns, notify the Facilities Manager in order to resolve quickly
  • Have a natural customer service attitude when interacting with owner, guests and renters

Physical Demands:

Tasks in support of the Facilities Manager require you to be able to:

  • Lift heavy objects such as full propane tanks for outdoor grills, lifting and maneuvering ladders, lifting items such as bags of mulch in support of landscaping needs and lifting bags of pea gravel to spread in carport areas
  • Able to climb a ladder (up to 25 feet), from time to time to check and clean building gutters
  • Support Facilities Manager with other project work which may involve various physical demands
