We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Cape Fear Seafood Company! You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests in a relaxed, casual setting. If you have a passion for the food industry, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have at least one year of previous bartending experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and take their orders promptly and accurately

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

- Provide recommendations on drink and food selections based on guest preferences

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices

- Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently

- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining par levels of supplies

Experience:

- At least one year of bartending in a full-service restaurant

- Ability to follow cocktail recipes exactly to ensure consistency

- Knowledge of North Carolina ABC laws

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change

- Weekend availability is a must!
