Company Overview

Bedrock Communities (“Bedrock”) is a real estate private equity firm with offices in Westport Connecticut and Tampa Florida, that focuses on the manufactured housing industry. Currently, Bedrock owns and manages approximately 4,000 units in primarily in Florida. Bedrock Communities has raised approximately $200 million in equity, across three funds, to invest in the manufactured housing sector and currently manages a portfolio valued at over $450 million.

Role

Bedrock is seeking a detail oriented, Executive Assistant to support the Founder and Managing Principal. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an executive assistant at a financial services firm and be comfortable working in a small office environment.

Location

This will be hybrid role with the expectation to be in the Westport, Connecticut office Tuesday-Thursday.

Work Hours

  • In-Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9:30AM – 2:30PM
  • Remote: Monday and Friday, hours as needed

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The position requires that the candidate work in a variety of administrative capacities:

  • Effective calendar management – managing complex schedules, understanding priorities, scheduling meetings, and resolving conflicts effectively and efficiently
  • Schedule internal and external meetings on behalf of the executive team
  • Coordinate both business and personal travel for Managing Partner
  • Help plan companywide events, including annual holiday party and offsite training events
  • General administrative assistance
  • General research projects both personal and business
  • Monitoring email traffic

Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience as an executive assistant to a C-level employee
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and video/virtual conferencing platforms
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, multi-task and work in a lean group while also being able to work collaboratively across departments
  • Demonstrated ability to preserve confidentiality of information
  • Good problem solver
