Overview:
The Education Specialist supports interprofessional programs and conferences, and the continuing education accreditation process of Nationwide Children's Hospital and its subsidiaries.

HOURS: THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE, 20HRS PER WEEK. HOURS CAN VARY BETWEEN 8AM-5PM, MON-FRI

Responsibilities:
  • Manages continuing education e-mail, and voicemail box. Covers IPCE mailbox in the absence of the Interprofessional Continuing Education Coordinator.
  • Assists Interprofessional Continuing Education Program Coordinator with updates, training and troubleshooting of continuing education (CE) tracking system. Uploads online, on demand courses and podcasts into CE database.
  • Creates annual report on programs and conferences in collaboration with Professional Conferencing Team Coordinator.
  • Manages continuing education consults that require minimal assistance.
  • Supports educational programs and conferences with marketing, registration, preparation of materials and other administrative tasks.
  • Assists with program and conference budgets and processes invoices and payments.
  • Reviews education and conferencing policies and procedures and associated forms annually with Professional Education Conferencing Team Coordinator.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college graduate preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and databases such as learning management and continuing education systems. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. Strong problem-solving skills.
