We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office.
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Economist. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing data, developing economic models, and code in diverse programming languages. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize econometric and statistical methods to analyze data and develop forecasting models.
  • Clean, preprocess, and manipulate large datasets using programming languages such as Python, R, or Stata.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers.
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to extract insights and make predictions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven projects.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ample experience in coding, with proficiency in Python, R, or Stata.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience using econometric and statistical methods to analyze data and develop forecasting models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
