Job Description

At Central Bark, we aim to enrich the lives of every dog that enters our care. We focus on not only physically stimulating all dogs entrusted to us, but also mentally stimulating them with training, brain games, and activities. We are seeking a team member that will bring positivity and energy to the company each day.

We are in search of a Dog Check-in Coordinator and Event Planning Coordinator who combines a passion for animals with initiative, organization, and customer service expertise. Prior experience working with dogs is preferred but not required (love of dogs IS required, though).

Job responsibilities include:

  • Must be able to work at least 630am-930am Monday through Friday

  • Greeting dogs with enthusiasm and excitement


  • Answering phone calls;


  • Scheduling grooming, day care, training, and sleepover appointments;


  • Responding to client emails and messages;


  • Administrative/organizational tasks;

Other Preferred Qualifications/Interests:
While the primary role will be for morning responsibilities with dog Check-in, our hope is the candidate has a passion for marketing and event planning and can grow into commission-based additional responsibilities. This will include hunting/marketing for events such as dog Birthday parties, BBQs, and other events. Responsibilities would also include coordinating Staff to work dog events. Incentive pay would be 50% commission based on profit margins.
