We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays with deli products
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Culinary experience or training is a plus
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the store as needed
- Previous experience in food service or deli operations is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
