Job Description

Position Summary:

The Data and Marketing Assistant provides support by assisting the Data and Marketing Manager in developing, maintaining, and distributing materials for social media, marketing, communications, promotional programs, workplace campaigns, and website design and maintenance. This position assists with key development responsibilities including, but not limited to social media messaging, design and maintenance of marketing materials, and collateral updates. This position reports directly to the Data and Marketing Manager. Vision, strategic thinking, detail orientation, and initiative are key in this position.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist with the production, distribution, and maintenance of content for electronic communications for use in the annual campaign, donor communications, social media, website, annual report, and other marketing materials.
  • Design regularly distributed UWDC e-blasts and WLN e-blasts, email via Constant Contact, monitor audience and open rates, and follow up as needed and with assistance and content suggestions from the Data and Marketing Manager.
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance and updates for the UWDC website and the initiatives, with direction from the Data and Marketing Manager,
  • Assist with continual development and maintenance of social media channels for the community and campaign.
  • Maintain the Constant Contact database.
  • Assist in sending weekly emails and physical Thank-you notes from the CRM database (Andar 360).
  • Provide support for campaign, event, and donor mailings.
  • Assist in other areas as needed.

Job Requirements:

Education

High school diploma required. Secondary education is flexible based on experience.

Experience

Prior experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Wix, and 123 Form Builder. Ability to learn components of CRM software, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Hours

Flexible schedule up to 20 hours a week.

Job Location

Position is based in the Willis Education Center and requires the employee to work at the United Way of Delaware County office, 74 W. William Street, Delaware, OH 43015.
