POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Customer Service Representative & Bulky Waste Attendant

Location: Clearwater Composting - Lewiston, Idaho

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hr

Full Time/Part Time: Part Time

Locations: Clearwater Composting - Sunday & Monday

Bulky Waste Attendant - Saturday (located in Sweetwater 1st & 3rd weekend; Myrtle 2nd & 4th weekend)

Reports to: CSR Supervisor

Department: Administrative

Status: Hourly

Goal(s): Provide outstanding customer service to the customers at Clearwater Composting and the rural collection sites in Myrtle and Sweetwater.

Main Responsibilities

CSR Clearwater Composting

• Dispatch waste and recycling trucks
• Update truck and driver activity using the CORE software system to accurately reflect the movement of the trucks in order to identify issues with truck or divers making an on-time delivery
• Communicate with staff and customers regarding any service issues
• Generate and provide reports using CORE
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers
• Respond quickly and professionally to any community inquiries made by phone, email or in-person
• Assist in office administration activities such as billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and others
• Maintain updated office manuals pertaining to customer service

CSR Bulky Waste Attendant

• Use tablet and software to verify residency in order to determine if a customer is eligible
• Use a tablet to keep track of customer information
• Make sure items are placed in the correct roll off bins
• Call or email INW office in order to clock in/out
• Call INW to report how many roll off bins need to be serviced
• Unlock, open and close and lock location (locks can be difficult to operate)
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Reliable transportation
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must possess reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Read, understand, follow, and enforce standard and safety procedures
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to learn new skills
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Background check results satisfactory to Inland North Waste
• Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for at least 6 hours
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
