The Customer Service Associate / Cashier position is responsible for providing friendly and attentive service to our customers, in addition to performing various other tasks related to operating and maintaining the store. This position also requires the successful candidate to perform general maintenance and cleaning, helping ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, welcoming, thanking and assisting all customers with various transactions throughout entire shift.
• Sale of merchandise including tobacco, alcohol, and/or lottery.
• Use a POS to record purchases or sales and accept or make payments.
• Provide correct change and make safe deposits.
• Respond to customer questions and complaints.
• Identify, record, and resolve problems that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors by phone or in person to resolve issues or problems.
• Clean and maintain store appearance.
