Performs all housekeeping duties, implementing disinfection and cleaning guidelines, and maintains general upkeep of assigned premises.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Wearing utility gloves during all cleaning and trash removal procedures, cleans facility according to Disinfection and Cleaning Schedule; checks and replenishes, as needed, paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in appropriate dispensers, daily; Empties all regular wastebaskets and replaces plastic bags, daily;
- Disposes of all trash in dumpster after proper bagging; Disposes recyclable trash in proper dumpster;
- Removes all red plastic bags from biohazard containers and stores in designated container, as needed.
- Insures outside steps/walks are clean at all times; Picks up all debris outside of building to maintain neat appearance.

Qualifications:
- Similar work experience helpful but not essential.
- Work history reflecting dependability essential.
- Ability to read English, comprehend and follow through essential.
- The ability to speak and see clearly, hear and smell is essential
- Ability to communicate with people of various diverse backgrounds in a sensitive and compassionate way.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
