With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician
The Supply, Processing and Distribution team plays a vital role in ensuring that medical and other needed equipment is readily available to units throughout our facilities. This department cleans, prepares, assembles, sterilizes, distributes, and ensures the quality of all surgical instruments and medical equipment so that our physicians and staff can effectively carry out their work in caring for Hawai‘i’s people.
If you are highly organized and have an appreciation for operational integrity, you could be part of the team that distributes supplies accurately and efficiently throughout our network. As the SPD Aide, you will clean, prepare, assemble, sterilize, distribute and ensure the quality of all surgical instruments and specific medical equipment according to established procedures. You will also inventory and replenish medical supplies via various distribution systems, as well as transport supplies, equipment and potentially hazardous waste within hospital facilities. We are looking for someone detail-oriented who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
