Job Description

Get Set Go Health & Wellness Company, LLC. offers mental health services to individuals, groups, and. The agency has licensed therapists, certified peer specialists, community support associates, and targeted case managers on its roster of mental health professionals ready to assist people’s needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Provide support to individuals with primary behavioral health or co-occurring disorder
  • Provides intervention in the form of skills training, cueing, or supervision
  • Provide therapeutic behavioral intervention, support, and skills training
  • Assist individuals in accessing and utilizing community resources and emotional regulation skills.
  • Assist clients with developing and enhancing interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and coordination of therapeutic program and its activities
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings and assist clients in developing their goals and objectives for their Person-Centered Plan.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with individuals and groups from diverse populations.
  • Support agency staff in efforts to engage youth in services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of workshops/groups to help promote empowerment, advocacy, and life skills through agency resources.
  • Working in classroom settings with elementary to high school students.
  • Provides intervention services to identified participants and consults with the treatment team to identify the needs and level of support for the client.
  • Models and teaches good communication skills, recovery-oriented living skills, effective coping skills, and self-help strategies to individuals and groups.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) certificate
  • One (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder or co-occurring disorder
  • Successfully complete within six (6) months of hiring the department-led or approved training program described in Kentucky State Regulations 908 KAR 2:250
  • Demonstrate experience with leadership and advocacy in the field of behavioral health
  • Demonstrate the applicant’s own efforts at self-directed leadership development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to work successfully under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with persons who have co-occurring disorders.
  • Crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management skills.
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal history background check.

  • Team-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated to the formation and philosophy of the development of youth.
  • Ability to establish and maintain personal and programmatic boundaries while providing supportive services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to individuals who may not share a basic commonality, including value systems and behavior norms.
  • Demonstrate good writing and organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid state driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: Multiple locations
