Position Summary

The Clinic Educator-Radiology is responsible for oversight and delivery of the X-ray imaging training programs for Retail Urgent care back office staff in Puget Sound and the Inland Northwest regions. The Clinic Educator-Radiology serves as a resource to clinicians, fellow educators and management for ongoing X-ray regulatory inspections, RT and X-ray tech skills assessments, and evaluating initial and ongoing x-ray training needs. The Clinic Educator-Radiology also develops all new X-ray training programs, coordinates logistics and documentation for completion of all programs, and continuously improves existing programs. The role is a resource to the retail urgent care Clinical Care Directors for overseeing quality of X-ray imaging by clinical staff, including administration of quality assurance programs. Work situations require advanced problem solving and analytical skills. This position is an intermediate-level position, working under limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Associates Degrees in related health care field, or the equivalent in Applied Technology or Science
  • Radiologic Technologist license
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle; Current Washington Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical x-ray experience, preferably in an urgent care setting
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant teaching experience, preferably to an urgent care setting

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $33.81 - $49.10 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
