Established in 2001, Chesapeake Strategies Group Inc. (CSG) is a service disabled veteran-owned security and intelligence small business. Headquartered in Maryland, is incorporated in eight (8) states, and has eleven (11) international field offices located around the world. It is the mission of CSG to deliver an unmatched level of domestic and international security and intelligence to both government and private partners, while upholding professionalism and integrity.

CSG is currently seeking individuals with ACTIVE Top Secret, with poly security escorts to support projects in Annapolis Junction MD Area.

Responsibilities.

• Meet UNCLEARED/non-assigned workers at the point of ingress into the secure area
• Maintain continuous vigilance, observation, and control of the UNCLEARED/non-assigned personnel while on site.
• Observe UNCLEARED/non-assigned personnel while they perform their work duties to ensure they are not accessing sensitive or classified areas, documents, or materials.
• Report any and all suspicious activities.
• Escort UNCLEARED/non-assigned personnel to the restroom, break room, and lunch areas if and as needed.
• Possess required access badge at all times.
• Ensure that UNCLEARED/non-assigned individuals do not enter any areas where they are not authorized, or where they do not have a valid reason for entering.
• Prevent opportunities for UNCLEARED/non-assigned individuals to be exposed to classified materials.
• Remain alert and awake at all times while carrying out their escort duties.
• Not read, eat or engage in activities which will detract from their responsibilities;
• Alert each occupant of the space prior to permitting UNCLEARED/non-assigned personnel to enter.
• If and when authorized, take all breaks, to include lunch, at the same time as the UNCLEARED/non-assigned personnel for which they are responsible.
• Shall not disclose the identity of the personnel being escorted.
• Report on time and act in a professional manner at all times.
• Escort anywhere that’s required to include inside secured and unsecured spaces along with exterior building areas.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and provide confirmation by a valid birth certificate.
• Must be and provide confirmation of a US Citizen and provide confirmation
• Must hold an active TOP SECRET security clearance with polygraph
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be physically able to perform job duties which may include standing and walking for periods of time.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one (1) year of security escort experience.
• Achieved a High School or General Equivalency diploma from an accredited institution.
• Fluently speak, read, comprehend and compose coherent documentation in the English language.
• Mentally and physically able to perform the security escort assignment to include possessing the ability to lift, walk, stand, and climb stairs for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to work as a team and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on the job.
• Provide polite, courteous, and professional security services while on-site.
