We are seeking skilled and experienced Catering Servers & Banquet Captains to join our team. As a Catering Server & Captain, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients during events and functions. This position requires strong team management and food service management skills, as well as experience in hotel, banquet, and catering settings. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing professional and attentive service
- Manage a team of servers and bartenders during events, ensuring smooth operations
- Interview and train new staff members to maintain a high standard of service
- Oversee food handling and production to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Skills:
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of individuals
- Extensive knowledge of food service management practices in hotel, banquet, and catering settings
- Experience in bartending with knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Proficient in food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles is a plus
