JOB DESCRIPTION

The Garlic Knot Centennial is looking for a part-time, cashier/server. Our cashiers are responsible for providing the highest level of hospitality to all guests and co-workers. Our cashiers must have a positive attitude, be quick learners, and enjoy working in a team environment.

The hours are 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM (roughly) every shift.

Starting pay is 14.42 to 16.50 an hour, plus tips. Tips add anywhere from $3 to $7 an hour depending on the week.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions
• Must be able to work standing for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)
• Must be comfortable interacting with guests and team members at all times. Being friendly and giving clear directions are a must.
• Be able to follow through on tasks and deliver results quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets guests with enthusiasm.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Provides clear and detailed information about the menu items, including preparation instructions, prices, and serving sizes.
• Maintains cleanliness of the restaurant and equipment during shift. Performs cleaning duties such as wiping tables, floors, counters, etc.
• Restocking counter items for rush times.
• Works within the time limits and adheres to company policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by your manager or supervisor.

Pay: $14.42 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
