The Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church, “Mindekirken”, at 924 E. 21st Street, Minneapolis, is looking for Building Attendants to work events.

The Building Attendant job’s primary function is to provide security and hospitality, which includes monitoring the entrances, greeting attendees, brewing coffee and maintaining the coffee break area, and opening and closing the facility. Additional tasks include operating sound systems, assisting with connections to projectors and TV monitors, and making copies.

The Building Attendant works with limited on-site supervision (once trained); is punctual and reliable. Ideal candidates have excellent communication and social skills, accurately follow instructions, and have strong problem-solving ability. The wage is $19/hour.

Mindekirken is a rather busy ELCA church with Norwegian cultural outreach. We share a city block with Norway House. You need not be Norwegian or Lutheran to apply. You are welcome.
