Job Summary:
This part-time position is responsible for effectively assisting food and beverage services and execution of events by way of set-up, service, clean-up, clear communication and teamwork while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence. This position coordinates with the Bistro Managers,
Responsibilities Include:
Communicate with guests about their order in a friendly and sincere manner
Provide a friendly experience for every customer, upholding hospitality standards
Interact with other service and cooking staff to ensure speedy and effective operations so guests receive their food as quickly and accurately as possible
Prepare dishes in kitchen for certain shifts as needed
Handle food carefully and responsibly, following safe food handling practices.
Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism in accordance with dress code
Set up buffets for events with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling
Run food from the kitchen to bistro or event room
Adhere to all applicable laws when serving alcohol
Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures
Maintain positive and professional attitude
Clean kitchen and event space after event ends and assist with food storage and other closeout tasks
