Job Description

Are you seeking a job in professional hockey and have ice skating experience? Do you want to be a part of a fun, fast-paced, and exciting work environment? The Bloomington Bison, ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, are seeking candidates for the position of the Bison Ice Crew Member (Part-Time). We are looking for individuals that have experience playing hockey and want to work in professional sports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Shovel snow during media timeouts and after periods on and off the ice
  • Assist in the execution of in-game promotions including, but not limited to setting up rugs and runners for anthem singers and special promotions on and off the ice, intermission activities and youth hockey games
  • Deliver a high level of service to both internal and external customers at all times
  • Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned

The qualified candidate for this position should have the following:
  • Must be a proficient ice skater
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds at a time
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Available evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games or events. 36 home games for the 2024-25 season.
  • Typical shift will be from 6-9:30 PM on game nights and 2-5:30 PM
  • High energy: Ability to remain focused on goals and work independently
