Illuminating Steps, LLC has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, with its extensive knowledge, expertise, and commitment, serving clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities for over twenty years. We deliver services utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in school districts, homes, and communities to achieve their highest potential within their home, community, and school environments. Our goal is to support and teach individuals and families with children with behavioral concerns, parent training services, social skills training, and communication skills, ‘Step by Step’ utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Role Description

This is a part-time, hourly position for a Behavioral Therapist/RBT to:

·       Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home, community, and school

·       Collect and record data on the client’s behavior

·       Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff

·       Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor

·       Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and their family

Qualifications

• 18+ Years Old
• Clean Background Check
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to provide care in home environments
• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or Above
• Experience working with children
• RBT certification or willingness to obtain RBT certification within 90 days
• Experience in ABA-based therapy is a plus
• Bilingual is a plus
• Prior experience working with children, and/or with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Job Type: Part Time/Hourly worker

·       Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

·       Approximately 15-25 hours per week
