This is an hourly plus tips job. The bar manager will possess management and customer service skills to run our full-service bar. The position is the front facing and customer centered. You should be able to greet and customers by name and have a warm inviting personally.

You should have a skill set of bartending, light cooking (pizza and a few fried food items) and the ability to hire and schedule other bar staff for shifts. Skills include serving alcohol, daily cleaning, inventory management, ordering of bar supplies and pick-up when needed.

Evening shifts are staffed with one person. This is a part time position for 4-5 shift per week that are between 4-6 hours per evening for an average of 20 hours per week.

This position requires a full commitment for the season, which is beginning of September to late May.

Club Functions:

• Welcomes, smiles and greets customers for service
• Positively represents Apex Racket and Fitness
• Has basic computer skills and the ability to use our club software for processing transactions.
• Manager is to be on-time and present and reliable during the season
• Has a basic understanding of golf and tennis
• Can handle complex customer complaints to positive resolutions with the clients
• Fields questions from the customers
• Cash handling skills
• Must have own vehicle and be comfortable to drive into work in winter conditions.

· Performs opening/ closing duties of the Bar and Golf areas.
