Tailwater Lodge Altmar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is currently hiring for Banquet Setup.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Sets up function rooms according to the Banquet Event Orders
• Review the daily assignments and workload with the Banquet Manager and staff
• Thoroughly inspect all Banquet rooms before the functions begin
• Ensuring that floors, walls, and equipment are clean in function rooms
• Storing all banquet furniture and equipment following banquet
• Maintains properly all Banquet department equipment, storage, and work areas
• Reporting any equipment in need of repair or replacement to Supervisor or Engineering Department in a timely manner
• Properly stores and organizes work areas
• Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
• Ensures proper safety procedures are followed
• Lift, carry, push/pull, bend, twist and grasp heavy tables, dollies or chairs, and other banquet equipment approximately 50-100 lbs. plus or less
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, days, and holidays
