DESCRIPTION

A Service Technician is required to diligently execute the AppleCare service program and all duties described below. The position emphasizes skills in the areas of service, repair, diagnostics, operations and sales/customer service in a retail service environment. The Service Technician position is a critical role in the company, and requires a well-rounded and determined individual that will take part in the growth of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to Service Department:

• Deliver thorough and timely troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair for Apple computers and products.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators culminating into your AppleCare Service Excellence score (ACSE) for both iOS and Mac.
• Deliver a culture around Customer Satisfaction that meets Apple’s and the company’s expectations.
• Will be expected to execute many roles including device diagnostics, service/repair and operations to ensure overall success.

Enhance the Customer Experience:

• Deliver a culture where all store employees utilize the Apple Customer Experience (ACE) to provide a world-class experience.
• Complete all training to be current on all required service certifications as outlined by Apple.
• Provide timely and consistent communication to customers through the entire repair process.

Maintain Service Operations:

• Perform weekly cycle counts of service inventory and consignment parts.
• Receive daily shipments in a timely manner and manage outstanding customer repairs.
• Ensure service shop opening/closing routines are executed daily.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in a retail service or similar environment
• Basic computer skills
• Computer repair experience preferred
• Proficient with MacOS, iOS and Apple developed applications

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
