Valle Luna Mexican Food is now hiring host/hostesses for the night shift at our Cave Creek Road location.

~Candidates must be able to work weekends~

As the first and last impression of the restaurant, the role of the host is a very important one. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, customer-service oriented individuals to join our front of the house staff.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greeting guests
• Escorting guests to their table
• Informing guests of specials
• Assisting with guest needs; high chairs, special seating requests, birthdays, etc.
• Communicates information to servers; birthdays, special celebrations, and/or other info
• Monitors dining room for open tables
• Keeps track of what tables are clean, which sections are open, etc.
• Monitors table rotation so tables are sat as evenly as possible between staff to ensure the best service
• Answers telephones
• Take orders from guest calling in to place orders for pick up
• Enters orders in to computer
• Packs food for pick up and secures payment
• Answers guest questions
• Keeps lobby neat and clean
• Keep restrooms stocked and clean
• Thanks parting guests for coming in, invites them to come back soon
• Completes all assigned side work
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
